You can browse and search everything without an account. You only need a free account to send an inquiry or save machines.

Q.How do I browse & search for equipment?
- Open aliequipments.com.
- Click Buy Equipment in the top menu to see all machines.
- To find something specific, use the search box and type a brand (e.g. JCB), a model (e.g. 3DX), or an Equipment ID (e.g. ALI-0042).
- Typing an exact Equipment ID takes you straight to that machine.

Q.How do I use filters to find the right machine?
- On the Buy Equipment page, use the Filters panel on the left (on mobile, tap the Filters button).
- Pick any combination: Location (Country β State β City β the full world list), Deal Type (Sell / Rent / Lease), Category, Brand, Year range, Max Price, Condition.
- Use the β sort box (top right) to order results: Newest, Price LowβHigh / HighβLow, Year, or Lowest Hours.
- Results update instantly. The web address changes too β so you can copy the link and share your filtered search on WhatsApp.
- Tap Clear all to reset.

Q.How do I read a listing page?
- Every machine has a unique Equipment ID (like ALI-0042) β mention it when you contact us.
- Deal tags show if it's for Sale, Rent, or Lease (a machine can be more than one).
- Price: the displayed price is the final asking price. For rent/lease you may see the rate, or "Price on Request" (send an inquiry and we'll share it).
- Scroll for the photo gallery, a π₯ walk-around video (when the seller added one), the π Inspection Report β our team's point-by-point checklist with issues disclosed honestly β full specifications, description and location.
- On the side you'll also see π Market Range (what similar machines cost right now), the seller's Trust badge, and a π Request a Callback box.
- Use the Share button to send the machine on WhatsApp or download its flyer PDF.

Q.How do I contact you on WhatsApp? (no account needed)
- On any machine, tap the green WhatsApp button.
- WhatsApp opens with a ready-made message that already includes the Equipment ID.
- Send it β our team replies during business hours. No login needed.

Q.How do I create a free buyer account?
- Go to aliequipments.com/buyer/login and tap Create free account.
- Enter your name, phone number and a password (at least 8 characters).
- Tap Create Account. You'll get a 6-digit OTP to confirm your phone (see phone verification).

Q.How do I send an inquiry?
- Open the machine you're interested in.
- Find the Send Inquiry box. If you're not logged in, tap Buyer Login / Register first.
- Once logged in, type your message (optional) and tap Send Inquiry.
- Our team calls you back. You can track it in your panel under My Inquiries.

Q.How do I save equipment for later?
- Tap the heart π€ on any machine card, or Save for Later on the listing page.
- If you're not logged in, you'll be asked to log in first (free).
- Saved machines appear in your Buyer Panel under Saved Equipment.

Q.How do I use my Buyer Panel?
- After logging in, click My Panel (top right).
- Saved Equipment β machines you saved. If one gets sold, you'll see a Sold badge.
- My Inquiries β every inquiry you sent and its current status.
- π Alerts β your saved searches. A NEW MATCH badge appears when a matching machine goes live (see alerts).
- Profile β your name, phone, and an optional email (add it to receive alert emails).

Q.How do I sell my machine to Ali Equipments? (We Buy)
- Click We Buy in the top menu (no account needed).
- Fill in machine details: category, brand, model, year, hours/km, expected price and location.
- Enter your name and phone, then tap Get a Price for My Machine.
- Our purchase team calls you within 24 hours to inspect and quote.

Q.How do I request equipment for a full project? (Project Supply)
- Click Project Supply in the top menu (no account needed).
- Enter project name, type (Road / Mining / Building), location, duration and start date.
- Add each machine you need with quantity β tap + Add Machine for more lines.
- Enter your contact and tap Submit Project Requirement. Our project team arranges everything and calls you.

Q.How do I reset my password?
- On any login page, tap Forgot password?
- Enter your registered phone number and tap Send OTP.
- Enter the 6-digit code, choose a new password, and confirm.
- Now log in with your new password.

Q.How do I compare machines side by side?
- On any machine card, tap the β scale button (top-right corner, below the heart).
- Pick 2 or 3 machines β a bar appears at the bottom of the screen counting your picks.
- Tap Compare β to see them side by side: price, year, hours, condition, location, seller trust and every specification in one table.
- Tap β on the bar to clear your picks.

Q.How do I find machines on the map?
- Click Map in the top menu.
- Every live machine shows as a π pin on the India + Gulf map (city-level location).
- Tap a pin to see the machine's photo, price and a link to open it.
- Zoom into your area to find machines near you β closer machine = cheaper transport.

Q.How do I get alerts when a matching machine arrives?
- On Buy Equipment, set your filters β e.g. Category: Backhoe Loader, Max Price βΉ20 L, State: Maharashtra.
- Tap π Save this search (next to the machine count). Log in as a buyer if asked.
- Whenever a new machine matching your filters goes live, a NEW MATCH badge appears in My Panel β Alerts.
- Add your email in Profile to also get an email the moment it happens.
- In the Alerts tab you can View matches, Pause or delete any alert (up to 10).

Q.How do I book a callback at my preferred time?
- On any machine page (or the Contact page), find the π Request a Callback box.
- Log in as a buyer, then tap Pick a time β.
- Choose a day (next 7 days) and a time slot (10 AM β 7 PM IST), optionally write what you want to discuss.
- Tap Book My Call β our team calls you at that time. No waiting on hold.

Q.How do I chat live with the team?
- Tap the π¬ chat bubble at the bottom-right of any page.
- During business hours you chat directly with our team β first time, just give your name and phone (no account needed).
- Replies appear right in the widget; a red badge shows unread replies if you closed it.
- Outside business hours the widget offers WhatsApp instead, so you're never stuck.

Q.How do I get RC transfer, transport or other services?
- Click Services in the top menu.
- Pick what you need: RC Transfer & Ownership, NOC & Documentation, Transport & Logistics, Insurance Assistance or Machine Inspection.
- Fill the small form (name, phone, details) β no account needed.
- Our team calls you with a fixed quote before any work starts.

Listing your machines
Sellers submit machines through the seller portal. Our team reviews each one before it goes live. All buyer contact is handled by Ali Equipments β you get the deal without the hassle.

Q.How do I register as a seller?
- Go to aliequipments.com/seller/login and tap Create free account.
- Enter your name, phone, password, and your city & state (business name optional).
- Tap Create Account.

Q.How do I verify my phone number?
- Right after registering, you'll see a Verify Your Phone screen.
- We send a 6-digit OTP on WhatsApp (or SMS). Type it in and tap Verify.
- Didn't get it? Wait for the timer, then tap Resend OTP.
- You can also tap Skip for now and verify later from a yellow banner on your dashboard.

Q.How do I submit my machine?
- In your Seller Portal, tap + Submit New Machine.
- Choose the Deal Type β Sell, Rent, Lease (you can pick more than one).
- Fill in category, brand, model, year, hours/km and condition.
- Pick the machine's location from the dropdowns: Country β State β City (every country in the world is listed).
- The listing currency sets itself from the country (India β βΉ, UAE β AED, USA β $) β change it if you quote in another currency.
- If selling, enter your Quote Price β the amount you want for the machine.
- Add a description, specifications (optional), photos β and a walk-around video if you have one (see video).
- Tap Submit for Review. Your machine's status becomes Pending.

Q.How do I add photos?
- In the submit form, tap the Add Photos box (camera or gallery on mobile).
- Add 3 to 15 clear photos β front, back, engine, cabin, tyres/tracks, hour meter.
- The first photo is the main one shown on your card. Drag with β β to reorder, or β to remove.

Q.How do I understand my listing status?
- Pending β our team is reviewing your machine.
- Live β it's public on the site with an Equipment ID.
- Rejected β check the reason shown, fix it and resubmit.
- Sold / Rented β the deal is closed.

Q.What is the difference between my quote price and the display price?
- Quote Price β the amount you asked for. This is what you receive if the deal closes.
- Display Price β the price buyers see on the website. It includes Ali Equipments' service margin.
- By default you can see both on your dashboard. (Admin may choose to show you only your quote.)

Q.How do I fix a rejected listing or withdraw a machine?
- Rejected: read the reason on your dashboard, tap Resubmit, make changes and send again.
- Withdraw (Pending): tap Withdraw β it's removed immediately.
- Withdraw (Live): tap Request Withdrawal β our team confirms and takes it down.

Q.How do I add a walk-around video?
- Record 30β60 seconds on your phone: start the machine, move it, show the hour meter and any attachments.
- Upload the video anywhere you like:
- YouTube (easiest) β upload as Unlisted if you don't want it public on your channel.
- Instagram β post it as a reel.
- Google Drive β upload, then set sharing to "Anyone with the link".
- Copy the video's link and paste it in the Walk-around Video Link box on the submit form.
- Buyers watch it right on your listing page β YouTube/Drive videos play embedded.

Q.How do I let AI fill the form from my photos?
- First upload your machine photos (at least 1, ideally 4β6 clear angles).
- At the top of the form, tap β¨ Auto-fill with AI.
- AI reads the photos and fills machine type, brand, model, year, condition, description and specs it can identify.
- Check every field before submitting β AI is a helper, you are responsible for the details. Fields it isn't sure about stay empty.
β οΈ AI never invents hours or service history β those you fill yourself.
For Admins
Running the marketplace (Super Admin)
The admin panel is where you approve machines, set prices, handle every inquiry and lead, manage staff, and edit the whole website.

Q.How do I log in to the admin panel?
- Go to aliequipments.com/admin/login.
- Enter your phone or email and password.
- You land on the Dashboard with live counts of listings, inquiries and leads.

Q.How do I approve or reject a machine and set its price?
- Open Approval Queue from the sidebar.
- Review the photos, details and the seller's quote (shown on the left).
- Enter the Display Price (public price = quote + your margin). It must be at least the quote; a warning shows above 100% markup.
- Tap Approve & Go Live β the system assigns the next Equipment ID and the machine goes public.
- To reject, tap Reject, write a reason (min 10 characters), and confirm β the seller sees the reason.

Q.How do I control which price the seller sees? (Decision D1)
- During approval, use the checkbox "Seller can see this display price on their dashboard."
- Checked β seller sees both their quote and the public display price.
- Unchecked β seller sees only their own quote (their dashboard hides the display price).

Q.How do I show or hide rent/lease rates? (Decision D3)
- During approval, use the checkboxes "Show rent rate publicly" / "Show lease rate publicly."
- Off β buyers see "Price on Request" for that deal type.
- On β the rate text you entered is shown publicly.

Q.How do I handle buyer inquiries?
- Open Inquiries. Every form submission and WhatsApp click lands here.
- Move each one along the pipeline: New β In Talk β Deal β Closed (Won / Lost).
- Assign an inquiry to a staff member so nothing is missed.
- Add notes with + Note to record the conversation.

Q.How do I share a seller's contact with a buyer? (Decision D2)
- By default, seller contacts are never shown β the platform always shows Ali Equipments' contact.
- Only when you decide direct contact helps close a deal, tap Share Seller Contact on that inquiry.
- Confirm the warning. This is irreversible and is logged with your name and time.
β οΈ Only Super Admin can do this. Use it rarely and deliberately.

Q.How do I handle Project leads and We Buy leads?
- Project Leads β full-project equipment requirements. See every machine line and quantity, move it along the same pipeline, and assign staff.
- We Buy Leads β people selling machines to us. Move along the pipeline, and tap Convert to Listing to create a draft listing pre-filled with the lead's details.

Q.How do I mark a machine Sold/Rented or feature it on the homepage?
- Open Listings. Find the machine.
- Tap Mark Sold or Mark Rented β it stays visible with a badge (social proof) but leaves the "live only" filters.
- Tap the β star to feature a live machine on the homepage (up to 12).

Q.How do I add employees and set their rights?
- Open Employees and tap + Add Employee (name, phone, password).
- Turn on only the rights each person needs: Approve Listings, Edit Listings, Mark Sold/Rented.
- Inquiry inbox and leads are always available to staff. Pricing stays Super Admin-only.
- Tap Deactivate to instantly block an employee's access.

Q.How do I edit website content, contact info and help text?
- Open Site Settings.
- Website Content & Contact tab β edit phone, WhatsApp number, email, address, homepage text, trust badges, footer, About page and system rules. Changes go live immediately.
- Help Texts tab β edit the words behind every ? button on the whole site.
- Make your changes and tap Save Changes.
π‘ Everything the public sees β even the phone number on the homepage β is editable here. No developer needed. Website colours are on the separate Branding page; the homepage banner is under Carousel.

Q.How do I fill the inspection checklist on a machine?
- Physically check the machine first β engine, hydraulics, tyres/undercarriage, cabin, leaks, documents.
- In Approval Queue (or Listings β the π button on any row), open Inspection Checklist.
- For each of the 15 points choose β OK, β Issue (write what's wrong) or N/A.
- Tap Save Report β the listing instantly shows a green "β Inspected by Ali Equipments" report to buyers.

Q.How do I handle callback requests?
- Open Callbacks in the sidebar. Requests are grouped by day β β οΈ Overdue, π Today, Tomorrowβ¦
- Each card shows the time (IST), buyer's name/phone (tap to dial), the machine they asked about, and their note.
- Assign it to a staff member from the dropdown so nothing is missed.
- After the call tap β Done (or β to cancel). Tick "Show done/cancelled" to see history.

Q.How do I reply to live chats?
- Open Live Chat in the sidebar. Chats with a red badge have unread visitor messages.
- Click a chat to see the conversation; the visitor's name and phone are at the top (tap to call).
- Type your reply and Send β the visitor sees it instantly on the website.
- Tap Close chat when done; it reopens automatically if they write again.
π‘ Chat hours are set in Site Settings (default 9 AM β 8 PM IST). Outside hours visitors are offered WhatsApp.

Q.How do I handle service leads (RC transfer, transport, insuranceβ¦)?
- Open Service Leads. Every request from the public Services page lands here (you also get an email).
- Each lead shows the service type, contact and details. Call them, quote the service charge upfront.
- Track progress with the status dropdown: NEW β IN TALK β DEAL β CLOSED.

Q.How do I manage categories, brands & currencies?
- Open Categories & Brands (Super Admin only). Three tabs: ποΈ Categories, π·οΈ Brands, π± Currencies.
- Add a category β type the name, pick its group, tap Add. It appears in the seller form and filters immediately.
- Add a brand β type the name, tap Add. Same instant effect.
- Add a currency β type any 3-letter code (AUD, CAD, JPYβ¦), give a name and symbol.
- βοΈ renames anything; ON/OFF hides it from dropdowns without touching existing listings. The number in brackets shows how many listings use it.

Q.How do I switch a feature on or off?
- Open Site Settings β find the π§© Features section.
- Every big feature has its own switch: Price Insights, Videos, Buyer Alerts, Map, AI Assistant, Callbacks, Live Chat, Compare, Inspection Reports, Services page.
- Set one to β OFF and Save β it disappears from the website immediately. Turn it back β
