Return & Refund Policy
Effective date: 10 July 2026. This policy explains returns, refunds and cancellations for machines and services bought through aliequipments.com. Used machinery is not a retail product β please read this before you buy.
Inspect before you buy
- Every machine can be physically inspected before purchase β at its location or our yard. We arrange it, and we encourage every buyer to inspect.
- Many listings carry our point-by-point Inspection Report with known issues disclosed honestly.
- All sales are on an as-is-where-is basis: the machine is sold in the condition you saw (or could have seen) at inspection.
Cancelling before delivery
- You may cancel your purchase any time before the machine is dispatched. Any token/advance you paid is refunded in full within 7 working days.
- If dispatch or paperwork has already started, actual costs incurred (transport booked, RC transfer fees already paid) are deducted and the balance refunded.
- If Ali Equipments cancels the deal for any reason, you receive a 100% refund of everything paid.
After delivery
- Once the machine is delivered and documents are handed over, the sale is final. Used machines are sold as-is-where-is, so ordinary wear, age-related issues and items disclosed in the listing or Inspection Report are not grounds for return.
- Exception β material misrepresentation: if the delivered machine is materially different from the listing and Inspection Report (for example a different machine, tampered hour meter, or a major undisclosed defect that existed before sale), report it to us within 72 hours of delivery with photos/video.
- For verified misrepresentation we will, at our option: fix the issue, adjust the price, or take the machine back with a refund. Our maximum liability is limited as per our Terms & Conditions.
Rentals and leases
- Rental/lease bookings cancelled before the machine is dispatched are refunded in full.
- After the rental starts, unused full months of a prepaid lease are refundable; started months are not.
- Breakdowns during a rental are handled under the rental agreement β we repair or replace the machine, or refund the affected days.
Services (RC transfer, NOC, transport, inspection)
- Service fees are refunded in full if we have not yet started the work.
- Once government filings or third-party bookings are made, those actual costs are non-refundable; our remaining service charge is refunded proportionally.
How refunds are paid
- Refunds go back to the same account/method you paid from, within 7 working days of approval.
- We never ask for OTPs, card numbers or "refund processing fees" β anyone asking in our name is a fraudster; report them to us immediately.
